The Little Mermaid came out a year after I was born. I guess I only find cheap disney dvds fitting to write a kid's review, because all of the wonderful memories i have from it were when I was a kid. This 2-disc set will include brand new bonus features and a fully restored version of the film. The Limited Issue release includes absolutely no extra features, and sometimes grainy picture quality. A WONDERFUL disney animated dvds, Antz, brings to the screen the story of a lowly worker ant who falls in love with an ant princess whose hand has already been promised to the colony's general. Strongly recommended along with the Shrek movies, Madagascar, and Monsters Inc.

Disney Pixar dvds---Up is a beautifully animated -though atmospherically quiet and occasionally slow-moving- movie intended mostly for children. It's about an old man who takes a special journey to South America to visit a place he and his wife talked about visiting while the wife was alive. I highly recommend it. Just be warned when watching the first 10 minutes- make sure you have some tissues available, lol. Really effectively well done bit of storytelling there. Incredibly touching on so many levels. The disney film never goes in *that* direction ever again. Great movie.
